Youth Festival 2022
This blog is about a youth festival 2022 which is organized by maharaja krishnakumarsinhji bhavnagar university. This blog is a thinking activity task given by dr. Barad sir H.O.D of English Department.

This youth festival is organized with lots of enthusiasm after two years. Basically the grant inter college youth festival is being organized every year, this provides a platform to every student to share their talent. Maharaja krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar university organized a 4 day youth festival on 18/19/20/21 september 2022, this was hosted by Takshila institute of science and commerce. This youth festival under the campaign 'Adi ka Amrut mahotsav'. The students of various colleges and departments participate and perform very well in every event.
Here is Time Table for all events-
This youth festival started with kala yatra on 18th september. The route was from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the water tank to the university AmphiTheater. Most themes of kala yatra are based on current issues. This was live telecasting on youtube channel and around 1 lakh people watch this kala yatra. All participants and nonparticipants could join this kala yatra.

My experiance-
I participated in two events, on the spot painting and poster making competition. One the spot painting event on first day 19 september, and poster making competition on second day 20 september. This youth festival provides me the stage to show my creativity and uniqueness, and improve my spontaneity. This kind of opportunity brings lots of self confidence and hope that I can do it, and I can give my best performance. I personally participated in many competitions but the environment of this youth festival is different from others. I started practicing for my events 7,8 days ago, thinking about various subjects and making rough sketches. I didn't get a rank in any event but I learned many things from my failure that if you can't get the result you want you should work hard. The more practice you do you may get the result you want, and the most important thing is never lose hope. Always try your best and enjoy the process without knowing the result, and always be positive, because if you lose your hope you can give your best performance.
I notice that every participant does extremely good work, every painting seems to have a unique technique. All participants give their best work and participate with lots of enthusiasm, and in every event the supervisor provides on the spot certificate of participation. None of the participants have to wait for their certificate.
Opening Ceremony
On 19th september 2022, the opening ceremony was organized in the amphitheater, and the main stage during youth festival was named "Shree mahendra meghani mukhya munch". In this opening ceremony of this festival many respective peoples are present, IPS officer Safin Hasan Sir, kirtiben Danidjariya, Abhishek jain, Jitubhai Vaghani who is education minister of Gujarat. They give speeches to encourage participants and boost their power.

English Department as a Stage. In the Department of English most literary events are organized like Debate, Short film screening, Essay writings, quiz, poetry writing, recitation.

And in Elocution and mono acting secured 1 and 2 rank.
Closing ceremony
Closing ceremony was organized on the last day of the youth festival. This brought lots of happiness and lots of enthusiasm and fun also. Everyone was waiting for their result. Everyone is hoping for a good result from their hard work. This youth festival was memorable for all participants. This kind of opportunity makes them believe that they can do whatever they want and achieve their goal.
